시카고 교육원이 주최하고, NAKS가 주관한 제 1회 코리안 스펠링 비 대회에서 문영서(대나무1반/담임 최지수) 학생이 1등을 차지했습니다. NAKS(The National Association for Korean Schools/재미한국학교협의회)는 미주에 있는 1,000여 주말 한국학교의 연합체로, 미국의 전 지역을 지역별로 나누어 전국 협의회 산하 49개 주에서 14개의 지역협의회를 두고 있습니다.

Moon Youngseo (Danamoo Class 1/ homeroom teacher Choi Jisoo) won the first prize at the first Korean Spelling Bee competition hosted by the Chicago Institute of Education and organized by the NAKS. The National Association for Korean Schools (NAKS) is an association of more than 1,000 weekend Korean schools in the United States, with 14 regional councils in 49 states under the National Council.
